Speaker:  Jim Sutman, owner of ISLE Inc. and The Purple Cat, and Golden String Internet Radio.  Jim started the business in 1998, after leaving a career in journalism.  His goal is improving lives of developmentally disadvantaged or disabled individuals, through the following 501(C)3 organizations.
ISLE Inc: Iron and String Life Enhancement, Inc. was founded in 1998 to provide residential, respite, transportation, advocacy, vocational services and day habilitative programming for developmentally disabled individuals and those with special needs in Mahoning and Trumbull counties.  Currently there are 34 residential facilities operated by ISLE Inc.
The Purple Cat:  Was founded in 2003 to offer day-program alternatives for adults. Clients participate in a wide range of vocational functions, creative projects and classes that develop daily-living skills. The goal is to prompt each individual to achieve his or her potential. The Purple Cat motto is "Work hard, be kind and have fun."
Golden String Internet Radio:Golden String Radio is a unique station in that adults with disabilities are operating the station. They are our DJs, clerical staff, creative directors, and technical support.
