First and foremost, thank you to the club for taking on roles with Oktoberfestival this weekend. It is sure to be great! 
 
Here are some guidelines and FAQ for this weekend:
 
Clothing:
  • for set up: wear old clothes. Remember to dress for the weather (colder in the morning, heats up in the afternoon).
  • For the day of: wear Rotary gear, dress in layers. 
Remember to dress for the weather, and pay attention to the forecast this weekend (as of now, we're looking at partly cloudy skies, mid-40s in the morning and 65 in the afternoon).
 
Friday setup:
  • Space mark-up: will start at 11:45, park on the gravel driveway going up to the church. 
  • Fencing: start at 9:00 am, be done by 2:30 pm. 
Everyone is welcome to meet at Perkins at 8:00 am.
 
Saturday setup:
  • whatever does not get done on Friday will be done on Saturday.
  • Only coming in on Southern Blvd. Vendors are coming in earlier, at 10:00 am. A lot of this depends on weather. 
Everyone is welcome to meet at Perkins at 7:00 am, arriving at Boardman Park at 8:00 am (the park opens at 8). 
 
Sunday:
  • 5:30 am start time 
  • Come in off 224 (entrance at 224 closes at 6 am), park where we do for Tuesday meetings.
  • Meet up in the Bocce court.
  • Bring flashlights.
  • Gates open at 8:00 am
  • Afternoon shift: enter from Southern Blvd. and park where we do for meetings. Remember public parking is open for the afternoon. Give yourself time to find a space or park at Southwoods and take a shuttle over.
Goodies Galore:
  • $10 suggested donation or bring goodies Sunday morning.
  • List all ingredients to go along with it for the Health Department.
  • Interact students will be helping throughout the day. 
Food court: full! 
 
Parking:
  • 8-10 people in the back lot; if field is wet, might cancel that.
  • Whoever else is inside the park, help direct people to their spots.
  • At 4:00 pm please try to come back and help with the vendors in the back lot. We can use all the help we can get!
