Three students - Nick, Dante and Rick - from the Student World Affairs Council spoke to Rotary about their experience at this year's event. Students are given overview of current events of the world, and asked to participate in breakout groups to discuss them. This year, students specifically discussed issues of the South China Sea and island building. Students role-played as members of different world organizations, discussed the issues, and offered thoughtful solutions to some of the issues worldwide. The 150 students also listened to a speaker, a former member of the Reagan Administration.
