Elsa Higby, director of Grow Youngstown, spoke about the many gardening and community supported agriculture projects happening in the Youngstown area. Shelly LaBerto, community chair, gave a first reading for the following items:

$3,000 donation to Operation Warm, the annual distribution of winter coats to children in need.

$10,000 towards the purchase of the flag pole for the Boardman High School Stadium Project.

Christmas Box Wrapping and Delivery

The annual delivery of Christmas food boxes is scheduled for Sunday, Dec. 21, 2014. More details to follow.

The Tuesday, Dec. 9, meeting will be used as a club event to wrap the boxes that will be delivered to the families.

Oktoberfestival Wrap-up Meeting and Announcement of 2015 Chairs

Thank you and congratulations to Josh Aikens and Jill Cox, who will serve as the 2015 Chairs of the Boardman Rotary's Oktoberfestival.

A reminder that a wrap-up meeting will be held on Thursday, Oct. 30 at 8 a.m. at Burgan Real Estate offices.
