Shannon Tirone shared that Youngstown Rotary is holding a Groundhogs Day BeerFest.  Saturday February 1, at Stambaugh Auditorium.  She sent a sign up sheet around.
Pancake Meeting was announced for immediately after program.
Pancake Dates are March 21 and 22  March 28 and 29.
Terry Daprile requested money
$1,000 was approved for the United Way (Image Library Project)
$2,000 was approved for the Boardman Schools Elementary School book project.  This replaces our dictionary project.
$1,000 was approved for the Mahoning County Children's Services. Money to provide Christmas gift cards for preteens hard to by toys for.
Terry stated $200 board donation was also given out, but did that did not need Club member approval.
Bill Gambrel did a nice job with fellowship.
Program was introduced and Josh Aikens gave a presentation about using the computer Club Runner. is the place to locate the information about your club.  Login and give it a try.

Program for 8/27 - Carol Buchmann - Remote Area Medical Event
Carol Buchmann, from Medical Records Services, spoke about an upcoming medical event at the Covelli Center (Sept 21st and 22nd) put on by RAM (Remote Area Medical).  The event will provide free medical care for Mahoning County residents including medical, dental, eye exams, and audiology exams.  Tickets will be given out on a first come, first serve basis - when they run out, they won't be able to serve any other individuals.  They are still in need of volunteers, donations to lodge out of town workers, food, and monetary donations.

Social Gathering - Wed, Sept 4th
Boardman Rotary will be having a social gathering next this coming Wednesday, Sept 4th at the Magic Tree in Boardman - come hang out after work! It could also count as a makeup meeting!
Careers for Heroes - Window World Initiative

The Careers for Heroes platform has officially launched at through a partnership with JobPath, an online job source for veterans and military spouses. The company appreciates the work ethic, attention to detail and focus on teamwork that veterans bring to Window World’s franchisees.
