Suzanna Barbati, executive director of OH WOW! The Roger and Gloria Jones Center for Science and Technology, gave the club an overview of all the "happiest place in Youngstown" has to offer.
Operating for over three years in downtown Youngstown's refurbished McCrory's, the museum has welcomed over 40,000 visitors, including 11,27 students and educators. The museum's displays - eight in total - focus on ages zero to 14, and are open to children and their parents participating in "self-directed" exploration. Barbati also gave some insight as to what is on the horizon for new displays, including a wheelchair racer, kids in the kitchen, a discov-eary zone focused on hearing, and a prosthetic limb exhibit.
