Susan Dieter-Robinson took time Tuesday to explain just how life can change in an instant.
On Oct. 20. 2013, Susan's daughters Anna and Abigail were having a fun-filled fall day in their front yard when an accident claimed both of their lives. Though still grieving, Susan, her husband, and the rest of the family have chosen to celebrate the young girls' lives by distributing Love Rocks. The tokens are simple stones that are covered with a small, fabric heart. They distribute them by giving them to someone while doing an act of kindness for them, placing it somewhere special for someone else to find or simply giving the rock to someone and just let them know they are loved. Some have messages on the back, some don't.

Boardman Rotary donated $1,500 to Habitat for Humanity on Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2014. The funds will go toward the purchase of an AED machine for its work sites. On hand from the organization was David Redig (pictured middle).
The Boardman Rotary Bowling Team is back in action, and it could use a few (more) good men and (women). Think you have what it takes? Talk to Ted Thornton, and then join the crew at Amron Lanes on Tuesday nights. Practice starts at 6:15 p.m. with the game following at 6:30 p.m.
